Video review: TomTom GO 520

The TomTom Go 520 sat nav is a good all-rounder. It comes pre-installed with maps of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Although the TomTom Go 720 is technically exactly the same as the 520, the difference is that the 720 comes with street-level maps of Europe, too.

One of the great features about the Go 520 is street-level satellite navigation you can enjoy across the UK and Ireland. This gives you the chance to see the road in front of

you on your sat nav, a fantastic 3D experience that makes navigating significantly easie

r than before.

You can also choose to avoid toll roads, motorways and more. There are many features that allow you to customise your route, which is particularly useful for people who do a lot of driving. If you are to go through a toll road then the device will tell

you how much you will have to pay.

The device also comes with speed camera warnings built in, and whenever you update your maps, you will also update the speed cameras. All-round, it’s a fantastic device for people who do a lot of driving, but somewhat unnecessary for people who don’t need all the bells and whistles.
