Disappointed to hear that Nokia Drive won’t be available on your smart phone? Then you’ll no doubt be pleased to find that the Nokia Drive app has been hacked, and can now be installed on unlocked Windows Phone devices.

The raw XAP file has been leaked online, and can be installed on unlocked non-Nokia devices. The app is currently only legitimately available on Nokia Windows devices, and has been praised for providing a fantastic sat nav experience – for free. The French phone manufacturer is also beginning to roll out offline maps services, too, allowing you to use your sat nav without using up any of your data allowance.

In order to be able to install the hacked software, you’ll need an unlocked WP7 device via the Microsoft official developer registration. If you’re not experienced in this field, then the obvious better solution is to invest in a Nokia WP7 device!
