Which sat nav size is for me?

Posted on 28th February 2012 by ConnorSephton

There are many different sizes of sat navs out there, generally ranging from 3.5” to 4.7”. Choosing the size depends on a couple of things. Often the main reason for purchasing a smaller sat nav is your budget. Most small devices will cost less, and of course, the larger devices will generally cost more, due to having a larger screen and offering better hardware and more features.

Larger screens make operating the sat nav easier, given that sat navs use touch screens. If you want ease of use then a larger screen is perfect for you. Furthermore, if you struggle with your sight and wear glasses when you drive, a larger screen will probably help to.

A great thing about larger devices is that they show more map area, too. Weight up the options and you’ll be able to decide which sat nav screen size is perfect for your use.
